1. Overview

These Competition/Challenge Rules (“Rules”) govern all competitions/challenges conducted by Audio Arranger (“Company,” “we,” or “our”), located at:

By entering a competition/challenge, each participant (“Participant” or “you”) expressly agrees to comply with these Rules and the Audio Arranger Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). All competitions are skill-based, and chance does not determine outcomes.


2. Eligibility

2.1 Competitions/Challenges are open to Australian residents, unless otherwise specified.
2.2 Participants must be at least 13 years old. Participants under 18 must obtain prior written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
2.3 Participants must provide accurate information and may be required to provide proof of age, residency, or identity. Failure to provide verification may result in disqualification.
2.4 Employees, contractors, affiliates, or immediate family members of the Company are ineligible.


3. Competition/Challenge Period

3.1 Each competition runs for the period specified on the official competition page.
3.2 Submission deadlines are final; late submissions will not be accepted.
3.3 The Company is not obligated to conduct competitions on any recurring schedule.


4. Entry Requirements

4.1 To participate, a Participant must:

  • Submit their mix via the official competition/challenge platform;

  • Utilize only the multitracks or stems provided by the Company;

  • Ensure submissions are original and created solely by the Participant;

  • Submit no more than one (1) entry per Participant per competition/challenge, unless otherwise specified in the competition/challenge announcement.

  • Participants may not submit multiple entries using different accounts or identities.

  • Ensure submissions do not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.


5. Free Mixing Competitions – Materials License

5.1 Participants are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the provided multitrack materials solely to create and submit a mix for this competition. Materials remain the property of their copyright holders and are provided with permission from Mike Senior of Cambridge Music Technology.

  • Usage Restrictions:

    • Participants may not share or upload the original multitrack.

    • Materials may not be used commercially or outside the scope of this competition.

    • Any reproduction, distribution, or other use of this content outside of Audio Arranger requires the express prior written approval of the copyright holders and/or Mike Senior of Cambridge Music Technology.

5.2 Ownership:
Participants own their mix, but it contains licensed materials that cannot be commercially released without permission.

6. Paid Competitions – Producer Challengers

6.1 Permitted Materials

  • Participants may use their own original recordings or licensed audio samples, loops, or stems cleared for remix/arrangement.

  • Unlicensed third-party material or content without proof of permission is prohibited.

6.2 Usage Restrictions

  • Submissions must be original or legally cleared.

  • Commercial release may require additional licensing.

  • Competition materials may not be redistributed as standalone files or sample packs.

6.3 Ownership and License

  • Participants retain ownership of their submissions.

  • By entering, participants grant the organizer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, promote, and archive the submission.

6.4 Public Sharing

  • Entries may be shared on streaming platforms, social media, portfolio sites, or music distribution services.

  • Collaborators must be credited.

  • Third-party material must comply with licensing requirements.

6.5 Questions & Permissions


7. Ownership of Submitted Mixes

7.1 Participants retain all rights, title, and interest in their submissions.
7.2 By entering, Participants grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, sublicensable license to:

  • Host and display the submission on the platform;

  • Use excerpts for promotional, marketing, or social media purposes;

  • Feature submissions in future competitions or archives.

7.3 This license is granted solely for competition administration and promotion purposes.


8. Entry Fees

8.1 Certain competitions/challengers may require an entry fee, clearly displayed prior to entry.
8.2 All fees are non-refundable, except as required under Australian Consumer Law.

8.3 If a competition/challenge is canceled, remedies are limited to:

  • Refund of entry fee; or

  • Credit toward a future competition.


8.4 Prize amounts shall be stated in the official competition/challenge announcement.


9. Voting and Determination of Winners

9.1 Unless otherwise specified, winners are determined through peer voting and/or panel judging conducted on the official platform.
9.2 Voting begins after the submission period has closed and all eligible entries have been received.
9.3 Where peer voting applies, Participants must listen to the eligible mixes and rank their preferred selections according to the platform instructions.
9.4 The Company may monitor voting activity, remove suspicious or fraudulent votes, disqualify Participants who attempt to manipulate the voting process, and adjust results if necessary.
9.5 Attempts to influence voting through external campaigns, vote exchanges, coordinated voting, or the use of multiple accounts may result in vote removal, disqualification, or account suspension.
9.6 All results are final. In the event of a tie, prizes will be shared unless otherwise stated.

9.6 Voting Integrity
Participants must vote honestly based on the quality of submissions. Any attempt to influence voting through external campaigns, vote exchanges, coordinated groups, or solicitation of votes outside the platform may result in vote removal, disqualification, or account suspension at the Company’s discretion.


10. Prize Conditions

10.1 Winners must comply with all verification requirements before receiving prizes.
10.2 Failure to provide requested verification in a reasonable timeframe may result in forfeiture of the prize.
10.3 The Company may substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its discretion.
10.4 Winners are responsible for any taxes, duties, or other charges associated with acceptance or use of prizes.


11. Prohibited Conduct

11.1 Participants shall not:

  • Use automated bots or scripts;

  • Collude with other Participants to influence outcomes;

  • Submit plagiarized work;

  • Harass, threaten, or disrupt other Participants;

  • Engage in fraudulent, unlawful, or disruptive behavior.

11.2 Violation may result in disqualification, account suspension, or permanent ban.


12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 Competitions/Challengers are provided “as is” and “as available.”
12.2 The Company shall not be liable for:

  • Technical interruptions;
  • Loss or corruption of data;
  • Platform outages;
  • Third-party content.

12.3 Nothing in these Rules limits statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law.


13. Privacy

13.1 Personal information is handled in accordance with the Audio Arranger Privacy Policy.
13.2 By participating, you consent to the public display of your name, username, and submission in connection with the competition/challenge.


14. Cancellation or Modification

The Company reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify competitions/challenges to protect platform integrity or due to unforeseen technical or operational issues.


15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Rules are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and Participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
